Aniruddhan is a Swiss student of Indian origin. He is a 16 year old high school student at Realgymnasium Rämibühl; he has skipped one year of school. Ani has chosen the simultaneous IB and Swiss Matura Diploma course, which means he will graduate with two trilingual diplomas. Besides school, Ani plays the Indian violin, Classical violin and the piano, tennis, chess and attends MUN at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH).
Last year Ani traveled to different places and did a wide spectrum of activities. He took part in three MUN conferences in Lausanne, Zurich and Cambridge and debated with university students about issues of global importance. In June, during the summer vacation, he took up flying a glider and paragliding for a day each. He really enjoyed being up in the air and not being bound to the ground. In July, he attended a summer camp in Oxford University, studied Economics and Mathematics and met people from all over the world. In September, Ani went snorkeling in the Mediterranean Sea with his class on the island of Krk, Croatia. He learnt a lot about marine biology and saw the alien world underwater.
His most recent experience was in October, where Ani was in Mansfield, CT in America for an exchange program with a high school. While there, he discovered the beauty of the otherwise unknown countryside of America. He met the stereotypical American high school and their view of the world, contrary to the Swiss perspective of things. He saw how different things are.
In TEDxYouth Zurich 2016 Ani will be talking about his experiences as a teenager, how he sees the world. He will be talking about 9 values from personal experience that can have an impact on any teens life and why they do so.
